We are delighted to welcome Duane E. Estilette as the new Director of Operations at Housing and Education Alliance (HEA), effective December 6, 2024. Duane brings an impressive blend of leadership, housing expertise, and community service developed over a career spanning more than three decades. As a 30-year military veteran, he has held key roles in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, and Florida Army National Guard, managing logistics, training, and personnel for hundreds of soldiers. Following his military service, Duane dedicated himself to housing stability and financial literacy as a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor with the City of Tampa, providing critical support to individuals and families seeking secure and affordable housing.
Duane’s vast experience in housing counseling, program management, and administrative oversight aligns perfectly with HEA’s mission to empower communities through education and affordable housing solutions.
His proven ability to drive operational excellence, combined with his fluency in Spanish and English, will enhance HEA’s outreach and impact. With his leadership, we look forward to strengthening our programs and expanding our efforts to support underserved populations.
